Universal credit – work capability case law and best practice
About Course
About this course
This course looks in detail at some of the more difficult advice topics around the work capability assessment (WCA). Aimed at advisers with a good background knowledge of the WCA rules, the course focuses on the ‘substantial risk’ criteria and how to apply them to clients who do not fit into point-scoring categories.
The course also looks at how to optimise WCA challenges at the revision and appeal stages by taking a technical approach, based on identifying the relevant regulations and supporting case law.
